We’re back! Frontenac Bird Studies in 2015

Ontario Parks Article
Our work was recently featured in an article prepared by Ontario Parks! Ontario Parks staff have been tremendously supportive since the very beginning and such a pleasure to work with. http://www.parkreports.com/parksblog/?p=6039

A Mid-May Update
Great to be back! Fieldwork is well underway for this season. We’ve already documented encounters with at-risk bird species and recorded breeding evidence for many others. Amazing how swiftly things pick up once those first few days of summer-like weather arrive in May! We’ve already noted paired American Redstarts searching for nest sites, despite that foliage has barely emerged! I hope to make some time to update this blog but at the very least you will find us more active on our social media pages – twitter, instagram and facebook.
Lastly, we are about to pin down a summer date for our annual fundraising event – the Frontenac Avian Atlas. Click here for more information on the upcoming event or to make a donation.
Best Wishes,
Dan Derbyshire
